The Cauldron of the Dagda

Said to be one of the four great treasures of the Tuath Dé Danann, the Cauldron of the Dagda was brought forth from Murias. This was said to be one of the four great cities in which the peoples lived, before they joined as one to return to the home of their ancestors. Each city had a great poet or druid. In Murias that leader was named Semias.

The Tuatha Dé Dannan brought their treasures with them so that they might ensure their success and survival. Where other treasures brought then victory, security or soveriegnty, it was the cauldron that brought them sustainability.

It was said of the Dagda's Cauldron that No company ever went away from it unsatisfied
