Nuada is the Irish Celtic God who lead the Tuatha Dé Danann when they first arrived in Ireland. Losing his arm in the battle to win their place on the land, he was gifted with a silver arm, Airgetlám, fashioned by their smith and fitted by their healer. Yet he could no longer be king as he was no longer whole. Nuada did not give up and in time he was restored to his arm, and also the kingship.
