Queen Medb is strong-willed, ambitious, cunning and promiscuous, and is an archetypal warrior queen, who may also be a manifestation of the sovereignty goddess of Connacht. This quote suits her best: it's an excerpt from the Banshenchus (the Lore of Woman) manuscript, which describes Queen Medb of Cruachán in all her majesty as "glorious, perverse, extravagant and liberal".
Yup, that's our Medb alright. And you, too?!

Medb (Maeve) is the ruler of Ireland's Western province - Connacht - in the Ulster Cycle stories of Irish mythology. She is the Queen at Cruachán (now Rathcroghan, the Royal Site in modern County Roscommon). She is best known for starting the Táin Bó Cúailnge (The Cattle Raid of Cooley) to steal Ulster's prize bull, the Donn Cúailnge. Though none of that was exactly her fault.
